hi to all i have a acer laptop it's got attacked by virus i need to reinstall it but i am not able to open my windows.

i planed to reinstall i inserted windows xp cd and made boot it installted some files but sudden some error came about virus.

i just want some details of about i want to install new windows xp and take my windows xp old from my laptop.
