I have a Compaq Presario v2555us that will not recognize any hard drive.
I have changed HDD 3x, Mother Board 1X, HDD adapter 1X, Memory 1X and install disks still don't see the Hard Drive(s).
Error message for XP is "Setup did not detect any Hard Drives installed, Setup will now exit".
Is there anywhere to download the Mother Board Mass storage driver?

This often happens when someone tries to install XP on a modern laptop with SATA hard drives. Older versions of Windows XP don't have the SATA driver needed to use the enhanced SATA controller on the motherboard. Search this site for "slipstream" the process for modifying the Windows CD and "nlite" the program use to do the modification. Some BIOS's allow you to turn off the enhanced driver. But, I don't think HP has that in the BIOS.

Good Luck
