You really have only one option: set up a household 'local area network' - "LAN"
Get a router - either wired or wireless. Connect it to your satellite adapter. Then connect your desktop computer to the router. You will have 2 or 3 output LAN connections in the router. If you get a wireless router you will have those LAN connections and wireless also.
