Hello, I can not figure out how to connect 2 computers so both can access internet without turning off firewall, we are in the outback so only have one satalite network cable port, we have a Dell inspiron 530 and a HP Compaq, any help would be much appreciated, thanks

You really have only one option: set up a household 'local area network' - "LAN"

Get a router - either wired or wireless. Connect it to your satellite adapter. Then connect your desktop computer to the router. You will have 2 or 3 output LAN connections in the router. If you get a wireless router you will have those LAN connections and wireless also.

this is a good link to all the info you need to know about networks:

I have set up an LAN and have gone through settings on MaFee and allowed access from a remote decktop and this worked fine for 1 day then stopped working, it wont let the remote computer access the internet at all now unless we turn the firewall off.
