Problem with DVD-ROM

I am facing some problem with my DVD-ROM, some days ago i format my computer and since then DVD-ROm is not working, i mean DVD icon is not visible in My Computer window and i am unable to install it. Plz help me..!

Dear Sir,

Please indicate whether other cds are working for the problem might be coming from its lens.
