ok so my lap top is hp 6530 and the computer screen has about 1/4 showing and the rest flashing with a purple/blue colour..
i pulgged it into a screen and that works fine.. and i held the power button for 45 seconds which started the flashing...
any help how to get my lasptop screen backk

Hi there,

Check refresh rate in settings,around 70 to 75 hz,its also a hardware issue,by connecting external monitor is the display fine?Please give more information.
