usually first best thing to doo is see if theres a new update for it usually even if you bought it at store it may require a new updates firmware on it to improve performance and stability, OS compatibility, if your running mac or windows,

if those dont fix your problems then it may also be the wi-fi encryption your using, try loggin into your router and change the wi-fi security setting,
