Spilled water on dell laptop keyboard

hi
i have spilled water on keyboard long time ego (laptop dell vostro 1400 ) i took out keyboard and dried it all, i ordered a new keyboard and replaced it, but keyboard still doesn't work.
please let me have advise to solve the problem.

Hi there,

Its hard possible that its not only keyboard which is damaged but motherboard also has been partly infected with water and either you change the motherboard also or add a usb keyboard to system and use,before proceeding with changing the motherboard please get it checked by a qualified electronic technician if possible he will fix it for you.
