Unable to get fb to display msgs or respond

I have a Sony Vaio. Vaio Care program just ran a registry disc clean and disc defragmentation. Now I cannot get Facebook to display my personal messages, display notifications, or respond to my efforts to post. Nothing I click on responds.

I am using Firefox's most rescent version...3.6.3.

any ideas?

Dear Denise,

Please contact the Facebook Support and explain them the specific difficulty that you are having and hence let them see in the matter to have the problem fixed. Yet I will advise you to check whether you have the latest Flash Player installed on your system first.
