Hello,
i bought parts to build my computer i had everything installed and it was all running fine no errors and no problems. well one morning i turned on my computer to have the XFX motherboard logo show up then my screen went black and it hasn't showed any images since. When i try to reboot i hear my dvd rom start up followed up with a small beep and then my dvd rom starts up again. I know there isn't and disks in the drive. I have tried to unplug my video card and tried to boot off my on board but i get the same beep and no video. I have also tried to move my RAM sticks but again no luck. Any ideas on how to fix my problem?

Can you get into the BIOS?
You may have a hard drive problem - since the BIOS is starting the DVD drive it might be looking for a bootable drive.

OK no video at any time.
things to try:
1. try another monitor
2. try another video card
