My desktop gone crazy!

Hi I am new to computers, and I have a problem. My computer is totally gone crazy. Every 5-10 sec every windows explorer program turns off. Some other programs like games quit too. I read some forums but I didn't find the answer. I have got Windows XP Home edition. Please help.

do you use any antivirus? if yes,whats it?
you must use a strong updated antivirus to scan your computer right now~!
