External HD

Hi,

I have WD external hard disk. once i plug in to my pc it detected but the light on the harddisk is red... which i cant access to the file.

And even i cant see the drive in My Computer. How i can get back all my files. What should i do? Hope u can help.

in same case we faced two type of case / problem.one hdd is damage and other usb port is damage . many time we faced usb port damage . once atime change anotther case and usb wire one bye on to check to know which thing is damage. wire/ usb port / hdd - thanks

u mean the usb port in hdd?

hope the wire or the usb port and not my hdd... i need all the files back lot of important data in.... i will try it out first... thanks.
