Help with Excel data selection

I would like to take a worksheet and create new worksheets for each specific value in a column.
for example, one of my columns is "customer". I want to select all records that have the same customer and cut and paste them to a new worksheet.
I want to do this for all customers so that all the records for each customer are their own worksheet...
how can I accomplish this using a function or macro?
