Hello,
I have .net frame work of service pack 2, 3 and SPI, consuming a space of 400mb of hard disk. is it really needed though i am not computer programmer or a software guy. I normally use the system to work on an official work by using outlook, ms office 2007 and some pdf documents etc. does the existing or non existing of .net frame work packages effect the pc/laptop performance(getting slow or hanging up etc)

.net frame work is used for many different thing, its good to have but if you think your not using it simply delete it. If something comes along where it is needed it will inform you you need the software.

The new .net framework is only 280mb if i remember correctly, it can be downloaded here.
