Laptop says its connected, doesnt browse?

Hello,
My laptop says its connected but doesnt browse or anything.
I've tried resetting the router,turning off the firewall. What else can
I do to fix it? My laptop is a year and a half old. and I have windows vista.

Hi there,

Reset your ip address,get in command line and enter these commands:

ipconfig /release,
ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /renew.

You are connected to wired or wireless connection?

I have wireless.

That didnt work..
