Hello,

I have an old toshiba satalite laptop. I was running XP and Linus Ubuntu. I was going to reinstall XP and deleted all the partitions but when I booted with XP CD it started to go through the installation process and then 15 minutes into the install it says it cannot continue n hard drive found. I repeated the process several times and it did the same thing giving me the no hard drive found after around 15 minutes or so. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I am not to computer literate so be gentle with me lol.

Sam

XP can't read the Linux formatted hard disk. Google "KillDisk" download it on another computer and burn it to a CD. Boot from the CD and use KillDisk to remove the Linux Partitions. You should then be able to install XP.

Good Luck
