Hello,
For some reason, after my laptop comes out of standby, my monitor doesn't turn on. The power light doesn't blink anymore and the wireless light turns on, so I know it's not in standby anymore. But, the monitor still stays black no matter how much I click. My only option is to manually turn off the laptop by holding the power button and then turning it back on. However, when it turns back on the screen turns on.
Any help with this problem will be highly appreciated.

Okay, have you tried your Power Settings? if not then goto Display Properties and click on Screen Saver tab you will find them there, check the settings there.
