Yes, my Lenovo just did the same thing. It was flickering and started kind of pinkish, then would work for a minute when I closed and opened the lid, then black. The screen is dead, sorry. If you want to save any data you'll have to hook up a monitor and save to a hard disk (the reason I say this is Lenovo wants about 300€ for replacement!!). Unless with some kind of light you can read the screen and mouse pointer to do it without a monitor (I can see the icons but not the pointer myself).
