Not able to recover windows on toshiba l300

Hello,

i have toshiba satellite pro l300, i had not created the recovery disc of vista which was pre installed. then i formatted my lappy with the product recovery media (win xp) which came with my lappy. i erased the hard disc, which deleted all the data and partitions of my hard disc. now when i start the recovery with the xp cd it is not recovering, i have even tried to change the settings of bios to compatibility...

please please help me out...... what to do??????????

Hi there,

Please provide more information explaining in details ,you are trying to recover with a Microsoft windows installation cd?

hey, thanks for your reply, actually the win xp cd came with my lappy yes it is a Microsoft windows installation cd factory restore.... but i had completely formatted the lappy, and now it is not recovering from that cd.

please help..
