Can't get computer out of sleep. Solved/Closed

Hello, 
I put my computer to sleep last night to save what i was doing because i'm downloading a big file. and when i woke up this morning i am having trouble trying to wake up my computer. i have pressed every single key on the computer and have breifly pressed the power button but it won't go out of sleep. I do not want to turn of the computer because then i will have to start the download again.
Help!
