Computer Boot Up Problem

Alright so I'm building a computer (only my second time) and I have run into a problem. I've put everything in and everything is plugged in. The computer turns on fine, however, there is no beeping sound emitted and on the monitor it says "No Signal." I've attempted to remove the RAM, but I still didn't hear any beeping. I've removed my PCI cards that were hooked up also, but still no beeping. Are there any suggestions/tips anyone can give me to help with this problem? If anyone needs any more details just ask.
