I lost my windows partition due to ubuntu ins

Hello, i was using windows 7 peacefuly , before i installed ubuntu 9.1o, i accidentally erased the windows partition and installed ubuntu 9.10 fully on my compaq presario c 740 EE .. now i want to go back to windows as i am uncomfortable with ubuntu/.. i have lost my documents and data while doing the transit between windows to ubuntu.. how to recover from this situation.. pls help me.. i;
my computer does not detect my harddisk when trying to boot with xp cd..

you can use tow programes to recover you data:
1. active partiation recovery
2. power data recovery
you can download them from google.

in my opinion u shoul use 7. it is good . after instaling o.s. ,it is not sure u can recover or not data from u computer. in this site u can get recovery softwere on free. thanks

also one of more powerfull data recovery is Stealler phonex windows recovery,
i think its also good for recover your data back.
