You have to protect sheet for that. before you protect sheet make sure that unprotect all that you would like to be editable etc
Thanks Riz,
I have another quest. I Have two columns in my excel say Time in and Time out.
In the third colum i have to find out the time difference between the time in and time out column.
This can be done by a simple formula =C2-C1.
But if i enter my Time in at night 11:45PM and Time out at 12:15 AM the actual time gap in between is 30 mins, But the excel formulae doesn't work in such situations and it shows as one day delay.
Can this be sorted out??Please assist.

Try this
=C2 - C1 + (C1>C21) * 24
You have to format the cell to time format to have hh:mm:ss
