Count work hours since joining date

Hello,

How can i calculate in MS Excel number of worked hours if join date is available.

Ex: 1. cell A1 is joining date 12 March 2009
2. in cell B1 i want total worked hours since 12 March 2009 (let say working hours is 8 hours only)

Count work hours since joining date

Get the difference between the dates, and multiply by 8

=(today() - A1) * 8
