Hello,

I made a new facebook account because i wanted to transfer some data from a game.
But when i tried to do so. It told me to enter a phone number to receive a SMS code to log in.
I entered my phone number. But i never got the SMS code.
I kept re-entering my phone number. And then i got the message.
"you have requested too many SMS codes. you must wait 24 hours to receive another."...

It's been 2 days since i was told this.
Every day i would try to enter my phone number. And it will tell me to wait 24 hours.
What do i do now?

Hello, I recommend you delete all of your temporary files and cookies and try again. This should 'reset' it, and will allow you to enter your phone number again.

I have cleaned all my browsing history and cookies, but it's still tell me to wait for 24hours, please what i am suppose to do now?

Hello,

My facebook got hacked, and I try to log in to my facebook account. When I log it to my facebook account, it asks me to enter my security code. When it sends the security code for me, I enter it, and it says "You have attempted too many code entries recently. Please try again later." So, I just want to know what is going on, and how to I regain access to my facebook account again.

2 days ago I have requested code but don't recieving on my phone and suddenly they said now you have to wait 24 hours after this notification all the codes I requested start recieving but now its more than 24 hours but still same notification I am getting that wait 24 hours .

Hello,
Over the weekend FB disabled my account and asked for my id. I went through the steps and their generic email says the account is reopened and I should be able to log on. Problem is, I can't get past the security check. I only have one phone number in there and when I click "send code" I get the code right away BUT facebook has an error message saying it couldn't send the sms and to retry. There is nowhere to enter the code that I received. It is a total roadblock. I've been researching troubleshooting options but can't find any similar situations. Since I can't get past the security check I can't even use their help community or report the issue. Thanks for any advice you may...
