                    try to fix your mbr 
just boot from your windows xp cd as your first booting device---> Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD. message, if its appears press any key to boot from windows cd--->When the Windows XP Professional/Home Setup screen appears then press R key to repair windows using recovery console
then if your OS is in C drive enter
1 --->press enter
enter your administrator password
When you reach the command like
C:\windows>
type this command
fixmbr ---> press enter
follow the instructions to repair your mbr
then take out the Windows XP CD---> type exit ---> press Enter to restart your PC.
