Formate prob with 8gb Kingston USB

Dear brother
i ,ve 8 gb usb kingston. it is can't be formating i try to formate it with HP formating tool but now he show 0 bytes size after formating ...why?/ please help me to solve my this problume
before formating it can't be format but showd 7.45 gb when i format it with hp formating tool it wil be format & showd 7.45 gb storage. but when i unpluged it and pluged in again it showd 0 byte size and can't format and say no media to format please help me
