Can't get internet wireless but can ethernet

                    try creating a bridge.
I had a new toshiba laptop that had vista installed, for the life of me I could not connect wirelessly, but i could with direct ethernet.
the solution that i found that worked for me was to create a new network using the network setup wizard. create a bridge using the ethernet card and the wireless card.
this then enabled me to set up my network and connect to my router wirelessly.
give that a bash, see what happens.
