Help!! ME WITH A wireless answer

Hello,
i have time warner cable n i dont wanna pay the extra fee 4 wireless, how do i get a wirless network with my modem that is arris, i bought a netgear n wireless router n it was working till the point i needed the ip adress then once i found out what it was it nev congiured!!! so i disconnted the router n then i had NO internet with the cable pluged into the modem, WHAT router does any1 recommend!! or do i just pay the fee to save my headache!!!!

Most likely you did not configure the router correctly. Reset your router by pressing reset button for 30-40 seconds when it's powered on (check the router manual if not sure on how to do reset), after that have a quick look on this wireless network setup tutorial to build your wireless network. Not that difficult, just need some time to play with it.
