Wireless problem

Hello,

when i connect to the wireless network it says that im connected but i can not surf the net, and when i do the ipconfig thingy it shows my ip 192.169.4.30 and the subnext 255.255.255.0 i think , then default gateaway is 0.0.0.0 or sometimes nothing, what should i do?
i need some help please

Hi there,

Set your ip to automatic,the default gateway is not good,then get in command line and renew it,type the following : ipconfig /release,ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /renew.

hello closeup22 , thanks for the reply, but when i tried to do the ipconfig release and renew it says that it cant be opperated becu the media is disconnected somthing like that ,what should i do ,
