ACER Boot-up problems

Hello, My Acer Travel Mate 5720 won't boot-up. It give the choice of normal start-up or lunch start-up for repair and neither takes it pass the ACER screen. If it makes it that far. It won't read the boot disk either. Any ideas?

I think your hard drive has packed up.check your bios to make sure it is set to boot from your hard disk.
