Ten total. Four on the router and 8 on the switch would work (space for 11 PC total)

no difference - with 10 PCs attached might have slow internet access
Do I need a network adapter? I have Windows 98. The way I'm doing it is: 10 lines to the 10 computers are on the switch; the internet is connected to the router and there is one line (using one port) that connects the router to the switch. It worked before but not sure why I can't get it to work again. Thanks.
