Lost My Files

Hello,

I have an HP and had to perform a system restore. When complete I got the message NTLDR IS COMPRESSED. To fix this I did the following.

1 - Used OP SYS disk
2 - Pressed "r"
3 - pressed "3" - windows C
4 - Then typed "cd c:\
5 - Then typed "attrib -c ntldr
6 - Then typed "exit"

This seemed to work, the system restored. However all my files are gone. My programs were still there, but no files. Also when I check the properties in "C" the GB are way down telling me that the files are not there.

Does anyone know how to retrieve these files.
