Hello,

My sound icon is gone and I can't get it back by going to the programing. It says that I have no sound device. I tried to download for my dell but they want to charge me $30.00
Any answers? I would really appreciate it.

Hi,

try this 1.

Download the audio drivers from the manufacture website. Just click on this link.

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

You can use the "Enter a tag" option or

Click on "Select Model" ----> then follow the instructions by selecting your product

----->then Select your OS ---> Download the audio drivers and install it.

A windows update deleted power and sound icon.
I restored to the date just before the download and yep they are back
