Fingerprint reader for Android 2.1 based phon

Hello,

I'm running a project that part of it requires to read a fingerprint. The platform we use is an Android phone (2.1).

Q: Is there a fingerprint reader availble for this platform? (micro USB, power supply issues, drivers etc.)

Yes there is by Innovate Scan. They have a device that is a rugged bluetooth device that reads fingerprints and send this data through a Blackberry or Android cell phone. Innovate Scan call also customize Android applications if needed.
