The sims 3 cd problem Closed

Question

Hello, I lost my sims 3 cd and was going to buy an expansion to add on ... Does anyone know if any of the expansions can replace the start up disk? I remember some of the sim 2 ones did. Please reply if you can help me with this problem :) thanks
