Greets,
So earlier today I was using my netbook (an HP mini) and I got a BSOD, and my PC rebooted. i thought nothing of it, because it restarted just fine. Well tonight I turned on my netbook, and as Windows was just about to reach the log-in screen, a BSOD briefly (for a fraction of a second) popped up and the whole thing rebooted. I didn't have time to read the error, so I'm not sure exactly what the deal is, but I'm stuck in a cycle of start-up, BSOD, reboot, over and over again.
Searching for solutions it seems that the only way to fix this is to run the XP install disc. Well, I don't have a disc drive. Am I SOL? I can't run in safe mode, and I can't revert to a previous state.

This is really annoying and frustrating, because I'm a musician and have a large amount of raw files saved onto this laptop, not to mention the fact that I use it for school.
Any help is appreciated.

So since I don't have a disc drive I'm left with a $300 paperweight? Yippee.

Blue screen error occurs due to failure of RAM. You should remove your RAM or clean it. Blue screen of death may also occur due to malfunction of software and hardware devices. If this problem starts with any new software or hardware installation then uninstall it.
