Hello,
I had windows vista and upgraded to windows 7. After 2 days I got a black screen and everytime I press a key "operating system not found" comes up. I do not have a recovery disk and i did not save my stuff from a certain date. I did save my stuff on a backup disk but it won't even work. My computer is a Sony Vaio. Can anyone help?

"operating system not found" most often means that the hard disk has died or is disconnected. You will need to take the PC to a repair shop.

Good Luck

Hi, dalton

I am afraid the only way to solve your black screen problem has to be relying on the reinstall the system. Buy a recovery cd.

Thanks
