My itouch cant restore

Hello, my itouch is stuck in restore mode so when i plug in to my computer it says it does not recognize usb, and cpl times i was able to go to restore on itunes then it says cant problem with then it will give me a number but each time was diff. #. i tryed to hold both the buttons down then release the power when apple comes on then when i release menue it goes back to a pic with itunes and usb cord tryied diff comp and another itouch and they where fine .. so how can i fix this itouch?
