Hello,
i am trying to install Mac osx leopard 10.5.2 on a amd 5200x2 athlon 64 PC but while installing the os from the dvd the installation stops showing that
still waiting for root device
still waiting for root device
still waiting for root device
..........................................
..........................................
and it goes on like that showing the same message again and again and automatically
i have to stop the process.
The Mac id information of my PC is:00-E0-4D-A4-8F
is it impossible to install mac os in this hardware configuration?

Heya...
Installing MAC OS X on non-Apple hardware is not an easy task. The hardware must be compatible and you need to do a whole lot of prep work before it'll work.
I'd highly recommend checking out OSx86 and starting by checking out the Hardware Compatability Lists for the version of OS X that you're trying to install.
You can check out OSx86 here > http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Here's a step by step tutorial on installing OS X on an Acer Aspire which is comprehensive but not the same hardware as yours. https://proposedsolution.com/solutions/installing-os-acer-aspire-definitive-guide/
There is a huge amount of other info out there also if you search. It's certainly not something that can easily be discussed in this environment.
Hope this helps.
