Hi,

I had a horrible virus on my Vista PC and recently erased the whole partition and installed Windows XP Professional. I am on XP now, but all of my "Other Devices" drivers "PCI Device, Other PCI bridge device, PCI Simple Communications controller, SM Bus Controller, Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" all have yellow "?" and "!" next to them.

Right now I am on my mother's Vista PC. Her PC is the host, we have cable internet and my ethernet cable at the back of the XP PC doesn't blink green like it normally does (PCI?).

I think I need to fix those drivers, but can't seem to find out how. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Sir,

Please provide more information about the motherboard for appropriate solution.

Thanks in advance.

My motherboard is listed as "unknown"

Are there any ways I can check what it is?

I used a CD-RW to give the blank computer a program called Everest, but "unknown" is what it says for motherboard.

Did you find the right drivers for your "downgrade" and where?
I have the same problem.
