Transfering data from one sheet to anothfer

Hello, Guys
I have two sheets in a workbook, sheet1 is the entry sheet and sheet 2 is the database sheet. am suppose to transfer data from the entry sheet(sheet 1), check in a cells ("A1") if the data there which is an ID number matches with a cell lets say also ("A1") in sheet1 if it does increase the last digit by one and paste in the next empty row, if it doesn't just paste in the next empty row.

Please help i can't find any headway.

Could you please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com, http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too
