Sims 2 on Ubuntu
Closed
Hello,
I have Ubuntu and have just installed the Sims 2 using Wine and PlayonLinux but now I can't get it to run. It is an executable file and everytime I try to run it, it seems like it's going to work but "Direct3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL! The application will now terminate" pops up. HELP PLEASE!

Dear Viveon,
You actually need the Wine application in order to complete the task. Please have the complete solution from the following already solved post.
