Pc problem

Hello,
hi
i don't know much about computers. but some times when i put on my computer , it make a funny noise and on the screen it read power save mode. then it also asking to touch any keys to continue, but it won work. sometimes for weeks it won come on. everytime i try to put it on it goes right into power safe mode. what am i not doing right. please help.

Alright well Power Save mode is a Monitor/display function.

It's meant for when there is no input coming into the monitor.

Can you tell me anything about your computer?
It could possibly be a motherboard problem in this case if it's a little random and sparse about coming on. Also sounds like an older computer.
