How can i fix my i pod shuffle

Hello, its around 2 years that i got my shuffle after all yesterday i connect my iPod to my PC but my PC couldn't recognize my i pod its very sweet i can charge my iPod with charger but when i connect it to PC my PC wont know it also i tried with another PC but i saw the same thing there i donut know what should i do!!!!!!
pleas help me should i bay a new one?
