MY IPOD SHUFFLE 1G WONT BE RECOGNIZED ON MY P

Hello,

I have an iPod Shuffle 1g . I dont have anything but the ipod itself. When i put the ipod/usb into my computer eg usb port nothing happens my ipod dosent charge, my pc wont recognize it and so wont iTunes?? I need help with that also i dont have the cd that is including when purchasing it and i have tried downloading iPod Manager but it wont work it says " You need to run this through ipod " or something like that. I am not sure what to do , basically i cant use my ipod shuffle 1g at all. What can i do ? PLEASE HELP ME !

Try the iPod on a different computer. It may be dead or the USB port on the PC may not work. ITunes is the best way to interface the iPod to a computer. If you have iTunes running on the PC it should recognize the iPod when you plug it in.

hey dude... i have the same problem of device not recognised ....i have a ipod shuffle 1 GB.
what should i do if the ipod is dead ..
please let me know its urgent
