Itunes not updating

hi I updated my ipod touch and i did but it ask me to update my itunes because I have itunes 7. but when i try to update the itunes on my computer it dosen't want to update

Please check whether the specific problem is not coming from your firewall. Please have it deactivated and then continue with the update.
