Question

Hello, my daughter was downloading songs off limewire and the laptop shut down and now when I've tried to start it up it says CANNOT FIND APPLICATION,but all the front lights are on to say it's. Working but there is just a blank screen.Would you please tell me if it's dead or can it b fixed,I've found some sort of menu on it and the clock and date is all correct can.PLEASE HELP THANKS!!!

Then boot from your recovery cd and fix issue.
