Magicjack 'signing in' problem

I had magicjack and it expired... so i bought a new one instead of upgrading. All is good with the new one except it says "signing in..." and I can't make calls. I have no firewalls except the windows firewall and I did the upgrade for vista but still no luck. ANY help will be MUCH appreciated! Thanks.
