I can't delete 2 download error pages!

Hello,
I just got a new PC with Windows Vista, and set about getting a few dowloads, specifically Google Earth. The programme downloaded OK, but an error window posted itself on the desktop and I can't shut it down. It is a white page with no close box on the top left corner. I have shut down and restarted the computer many times, but it still pops up. What can be done?
Any advice would be great!

Try opening the Task Manager (ctrl-alt-delete) and looking for the thing that's open and close it from there. It will end it's process and once you find out it's name you can search your computer for it's related files and delete it.
