Asus G2K won't power on

I have an Asus G2K laptop. It was working fine. I wiped the hard drive and shut it off to boot from a Windows install disk, and now it won't power on. No lights, nothing. I have tried all the "hold down the power button" tricks and nothing. I re-seated the memory...still nothing. I even put in a new ram stick and nothing. Any ideas where to look next?

Hi there,

Open the plug of your power adapter and change the fuse,test it also with a multimeter as it may have been damaged since you mentioned that there is no lights,then revert back with results obtained if not solved for more help on it.

the plug does not open that I can see?
